The 9th Edition of Greenmotions Film Festival is taking place from 8th to 12th November in Kommunales Kino, Freiburg. We are looking for volunteers to support us in order to promote one more successful festival. We are very much looking forward to reconnecting with previous volunteers and welcoming new faces to our team.
Greenmotions is an annual film festival that showcases solution-oriented, constructive, and empowering films focusing on sustainability-related topics. Our primary objective is to inspire individuals to take action and actively participate in the transition towards a regenerative culture. Our festival encourages thought-provoking discussions and provides a space for creative exchange and engagement with filmmakers, sustainability experts and enthusiasts. Besides the film sessions, we are going to offer workshops, podium discussions, a food sharing buffet and a closing party.
We will require your help for the following tasks: reservation control, ticket handout, cash/ticket collection after the screenings, additional tasks (such as preparation of the rooms, help with interviews, pay desk at bicycle disco in Ruefetto on November 3d). Shortly before the festival we will organize an official meeting at which we will explain to you the process of the festival and your tasks as well as the procedure for finalizing the shifts. The dates for the meetings are October 26th (6pm) and November 5th (4pm). It would be desirable if you could attend one of the two dates. We will contact you promptly with further details.
In exchange, we provide food, drinks and the opportunity of having fun with a diverse and international team!
