This year our juries and the audience awarded 4 film prizes on Sunday 13.11.2022 at our award ceremony which followed our short film evening.
Congratulations to Arjan Brentjes for the short film award for his animation “Sad Beauty”. The short film can be viewed here.
In addition, the short film “Das Kleinod” by Sarah Moll received a special mention from the jury as a regional contribution.
Two films won the special topic award on this year’s theme Women – Activism – Environment:
Mama Irene – Healer of the Andes by Elisabeth Möhlmann & Bettina Ehrhardt.
The Ants and the Grasshoper by Raj Patel & Zak Piper
And Patty Schmidt’s “The String Bean Party” was voted favourite by the audience and thus won the Audience Award!
The prize money was donated by the Ökostation, by EWS Schönau, by Greenmotions itself and by the ECO Foundation for Climate and Environment (Ecotrinova). Many thanks to our jury members and sponsors, as well as to SONNENGLAS for the cool solar lantern prizes!
