Today’s societal challenges are enormous. We are confronted on a daily basis with discrimination and injustice: climate and migration injustice, gender inequality, difficulties in accessing social rights and poverty, war and violence, exploitation of the environment and of people… and many others. While there are many “little” things that everyone can do to try to do their part, these individual actions have only limited possibilities to bring about the social changes needed to properly address the multiple crises.

On Saturday 12 November, from 1pm to 3pm, we invite you to join us for a workshop on what is often quickly referred as “activism”, and other forms of social engagement. The workshop will be given in German and English. Each will be able to talk in the language in which they feel most comfortable with and whisper translation will be organised when needed. The workshop is primarily aimed at people who would like to get involved in organised action but have not yet had the opportunity to do so. However, the format is open to all, and the exchanges can only be enriched by multiple experiences.

In order for us to organise the workshop properly, could you inform us of your presence (as well as the language you feel most comfortable with) by email until Friday 11th of November evening at the latest? reservation@greenmotions-filmfestival.de Workshop instructors: Leonie Meder (StadtWandler Freiburg) und Laure Kervyn (Greenmotions).
