Who are our team members?

Ever since its inception, Greenmotions has been run by dedicated and passionate individuals, hoping to push for a sustainable and environmentally just world. The team is made out of film enthusiasts, students or otherwise, interested in the topics of the festival.

Adam Oliver

“Since joining the team in 2023 I’ve carried out a range of organisational tasks, including as external communications manager.”

Carlotta Stark

“I joined the team in 2022 and try to support the team in different tasks, especially in the movie selection process, in communications and in organising the volunteers who help us during the festival.”

Elise Petitjean

“I joined Greenmotions in 2023. Since then I have been involved in the festival organisation but also in developing cooperations with existing and new partners. From hanging posters to film moderation, I would say that my role has been quite varied!”

Laure Kervyn

“I’ve been a member since 2022. In 2023, I took over the administration tasks related to the association and became a board member. My heart goes with curating an interesting program together with the team. I’m interested in making the festival grow, making it known and accessible for a broader audience in Freiburg.”

“I joined Greenmotions in 2024, contributing to movie review and selection, program design, organizing the Special Topic competition and communication.

Tobias Johannes Schächtele

“I joined Greenmotions in 2023 and help a lot with different graphic works as well as the film selection process. I like bringing in my experiences in filmmaking and film analysis that I gathered during and beyond my media studies at the Hochschule Offenburg.”

“I am a part of the program team and communication team. Taking care of Facebook posts and program coordination. I joined Greenmotions as a volunteer in 2017.”

The Greenmotions Family

The Greenmotions film festival has a story that started in 2014. Since then the team has evolved. Some of the members left, some new ones came, some of them had to reduce their contribution because of developing their own projects, working somewhere else or because of time constraints! However, all of these people have made a great impact and are still engaged and supportive! Here we want to dedicate them a special corner and thank them for what they have done!
