TROP CHAUD: KlimaSeniorinnen vs. Switzerland

The Climate Seniors are taking a stand against the growing threat of climate change. Rather than stepping back into retirement, these women are determined to act in response to rising temperatures, increasingly frequent heatwaves, and melting glaciers. In a bold move, they sue their own government in a case that leads them to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and ultimately leads to a groundbreaking ruling with international impact.

TROP CHAUD goes behind the scenes of this extraordinary legal battle. The film follows the activists and their legal team, as well as the experts and scientists who supported them, exploring what drives them to take action. At the same time, it sheds light on the complexity of tackling climate change and the long road from individual commitment to meaningful change.
