Festival FAQs
Where does the festival take place?
Our film screenings and workshops tale place in the Kommunale Kino Freiburg. The KoKi is located in the Urachstraße 40. You can find a more detailed route to the cinema here.
Is the cinema barrier-free?
Yes, the cinema is accessible via a ramp. There are also toilets accessible with a wheelchair. However assistance might be required since there are a few (heavy) doors to open to arrive to it.

You didn’t receive your ticket(s) after an online purchase?
If you can’t find the tickets in the spam folder of your email inbox, you can contact the cinetixx customer support for help. We hope your problem can be resolved there.
How much does a ticket cost?
For financial reasons, this year we will have a flexible pricing system for the first time. There are three options so that you can decide for yourself, how much you can and want to spend.
Are there seat tickets or is there free seating?
While we had free seating in previous years, there will be seat tickets with the new ticketing system. If the main hall is full, there is the possibility to also screen movies in the KoKi’s gallery in parallel to the other screening.
When does the admission for a film start?
Our festival is usually quite tighly planned. We can therefore not guarantee to open the doors for the next movie early. We do, however, try to open them 15 minutes before the beginning of the screening.
