The movie is about the Muriquis, the monkeys of the genus Brachyteles, which are endemic of the Atlantic Forest in Brazil and listed as an endangered species . The movie shows their features, vulnerabilties and the efforts for their conservation.
After the movie we are going to have a discussion with Dr.Fabiano Rodrigues de Melo, Biologist, PHD in Ecology and Professor of the Forest Engineer Department at the Federal University of Viçosa.
