Or get involved in the organising team for the festival, which will take place at the kommunales Kino in Freiburg on the 23rd of November.
The “Coole Suppe” short film festival is all about “Sustainable food culture“ because environmental protection starts on the plate!
Children and adolescents are encouraged to grapple with the topic and submit their works as short films.
The short films will then be presented during the film festival. Additionally, a colorful and diverse side program will be offered with activities for young and old. So come around, spend some time around, we will cook together, discover how to become involved with film and exchange ideas.
Animation, documentary, feature films, cooking shows, interviews – every film genre is welcome at the festival. The length of your films should not exceed 30 minutes.
As an award there will be the public prize “The Golden Carrot”.
In our current society many children and young people are committed to sustainability and climate protection. They demonstrate and demand sustainable action via the # fridays4future platform. The topic of food is tangible and close to everyone’s reality. Producing films requires deliberate engagement and creative expression. That is why we are planning a short film festival for sustainable food culture with the association Communication & Media e.V.
